Skin Deep cream has a slightly herbal aroma and is very soothing to the skin. Made from natural ingredients only, and organic in origin where possible. NO preservatives or artificial colours.
Skin Deep – Humans:
For humans it helps with eczema, dry / cracked skin, itchiness, scar tissue, razor rash, athlete’s foot etc. Excellent for nourishing and moisturizing dry hands (and feet) that are prone to cracking due to exposure or excessive washing.
Skin Deep – other mammals:
In use on animals generally, Skin Deep provides a protective layer to the skin. Regular applications help with sunburn, rain-scald, sarcoids, dry and itchy patches of skin, scuffs and abrasions.
Skin Deep – Horses:
For all equines skin care, Skin Deep is very helpful in wet and muddy conditions where the beeswax and olive oil components provide a protective, breathable barrier. It’s easy to apply using your fingers to work it into the area that needs protection (just like when you’re moisturizing your own skin). Effective for horse skin care.
Applied regularly to an existing problem area, it keeps the affected area supple. This helps prevent any scabs bleeding and provides a healing, protective layer. Useful as a dressing, a generous amount can be applied to the area prior to dressing it. Alternatively, Skin Deep can be put directly onto the dressing. There is usually no need to wash affected areas in between dressings. Simply wipe / clean the area gently with suitable material, disposing of the soiled material in an appropriate way. Reapply a layer of Skin Deep before putting on another clean dressing. The beeswax and olive oil components are nourishing to the hoof wall and frog, whilst providing healing and protective elements. Skin Deep is naturally antibacterial, has a slightly, pleasant herbal aroma and is very soothing to the skin.
